Whitsunday Adventurer is a modern and comfortable purpose-built charter yacht launched in 2010. The Adventurer is most popular with guests who are seeking a relaxed, family-friendly, small-group adventure. The catamaran offers comfortable sailing and a spacious interior and a range of deck space. There is plenty of time and flexibility at each stop. Featuring stand-up paddleboards and even a heated spa on the foredeck, there is something for everyone on this tour.

Whitsunday Adventurer has a good range of cabins and open plan style beds, that can fit a different range of group types.

Luggage

There are no luggage storing facilities on any of our vessels nor at the marina. Guests are asked to pre-arrange luggage storage for the duration of their trip. Guests are kindly asked to pack lightly for their trip, in a soft-sided zipless bag

Whitsunday Adventurer has a BYO policy for all soft and alcoholic beverages. No drinks are for sale on board, so don’t forget to bring what you’d like to drink!

Sample Menu

All meals and snacks are included for the duration of your trip. Our crew freshly prepares each meal for you to enjoy using locally sourced, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Usually served buffet style; you can choose to eat anywhere onboard. Meals are a great communal time to get to know your fellow travellers.

A typical menu includes continental-style breakfasts, a filling lunch made up of build-your-own rolls, and two different salads plus accompaniments. Two delicious and hearty dinners, usually home-cooked style meals with salads and side dishes.

There will be snacks and afternoon nibbles, and tea and coffee available throughout the trip.

DAY 1

Afternoon Tea: Biscuits, Cake, Tea, and Coffee

Dinner: Mild Creamy Thai Red Chicken Curry served on Rice with Chef’s Garden Salad and Garlic Bread

Dessert: Home Style Apple Pie and Cream

DAY 2 

Breakfast: Fresh Fruit Platters with delicious seasonal Fruit, Yoghurt, Selection of Cereals, Toast with Jams and Preserves, Tea, and Coffee

Morning Tea: Fruits, Biscuits, Tea, and Coffee

Lunch: Roast Chicken, Asian Crunchy Noodle Salad, Potato Salad, Fresh Bread Rolls

Afternoon Tea: Antipasto Platter, Dips, Crackers, and Crudites

Dinner: Beef Stroganoff served on Pasta, Garlic Bread, and Fresh Herb Infused Salad

Dessert: White Chocolate Mudcake

DAY 3

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Muffins, Fresh Fruit Platters with delicious seasonal fruit, Yoghurt, Selection of Cereals, Toast with Jams and Preserves, Tea, and Coffee

Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Depart the Coral Sea Marina Resort (formerly the Abell Point Marina) at 3.00 pm. Leave your worries behind as you sail to the first anchorage for your first swim and snorkel over the beautiful fringing coral reefs. Enjoy sunset nibbles and a drink before dinner.

Day 2: Wake up to a stunning island view, enjoy breakfast as you head to Tongue Bay for a guided walk through National Park land to Hill Inlet Lookout. Take in the stunning views of the 7km long stretch that is Whitehaven Beach at the top. Then walk down to the beach and experience the silica sand for yourself. Back on board enjoy morning tea before heading north along the western side of Hook Island. Find anchorage in another secluded bay and enjoy lunch. Then time for another snorkel; meet the underwater life, try and find Nemo, maybe even bump into a turtle. Then be taken to your overnight anchorage in one of the many bays on Hook Island. Enjoy sunset snacks and a drink and talk about the day with your new friends before dinner.

Day 3: After a hearty breakfast, enjoy one last swim or snorkel. Then set sails and make way back to Airlie Beach, arriving at 1:00pm.

Meeting Point: Crew will meet the guests 30 minutes before departure at Coral Sea Marina (South End) at Meeting Point C

The guest is required to reconfirm their booking with Explore Whitsundays no later than 72 hours before the tour departure time.
