BEST SELLING WHITSUNDAY TOURS

WHITSUNDAY  FAQs

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Beach towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, camera, BYO drinks (depending on vessel), jacket for evenings. Most boats require items to be brought in a soft bag. You can usually leave your large bags in a locker at your accommodation provider in Airlie Beach.

WHAT IS THE ITINERARY LIKE?

Each trip is unique depending on weather, currents and the captain. You will always visit Whitehaven Beach, have plenty of time to snorkel and relax onboard.

DAYTRIP OR OVERNIGHT?

A day trip only provides a snapshot of the Whitsundays with very limited time
& itinerary. 2D/2N trips offer the perfect amount of time to explore, relax and really enjoy what
the Whitsundays have to offer.

ARE PRIVATE CABINS AVAILABLE?

Yes, for some boats you can choose your cabin when booking. Other boats have no private cabins on board which means there is only shared singles available.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS/ ALLERGIES?

Please inform the tour provider of any special dietary needs you may have and they will be more than happy to accommodate you.

SEA SICKNESS?

The Whitsundays are naturally sheltered by the Great Barrier Reef, providing you with relatively calm waters. You'll also be anchoring overnight in bays to shelter the boat from any waves.

You might be interested in a catamaran, as they usually cause less chance of motion sickness, due to having two hulls.

Sea sickness tablets work well as a prevention for most people, but please consult your doctor on this, as we cannot provide any medical advice.

WHERE NEXT?

NORTH

Stay for another night in Airlie Beach after you get back from your sailing adventure for some farewell drinks with all your new friends!

If you're heading up the coast, most people would take the overnight bus and wake up in Cairns, to see more of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, lucious rainforests or enjoy some of the different adrenaline packed activities.

If you have a bit more time you might want to stop off at Townsville and grab the ferry to Magnetic Island.

SOUTH
