FRASER ISLAND FAQs

I CAN'T DRIVE, CAN I STILL GO?

Yes of course you can! Even if you can drive you don't have to do so. Sit back & enjoy the ride or be the DJ. The minimum age to drive on the island is 21.

DO I REALLY NEED TO GO FOR 3 DAYS?

It is totally up to you, but we recommend a 3D/2N trip, Fraser is huge (120km in length!) and there is so much to do. Yes, you can go there on a shorter trip but you might miss out on some of the major highlights and won't be able to spend as much time at your favourite spots.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS/ ALLERGIES?

Please inform the tour provider of any special dietary needs you have and they will be more than happy to accommodate you.

WHAT IS CAMPING LIKE?

It's an awesome experience! All camping equipment will be provided and your tour guide will be onsite at all times. Camping is part of the true Aussie adventure and the only way to truly experience what Fraser has to offer. Just picture being next to the beach, with no light pollution gazing at the milky way with a cold drink in your hand.

WHERE TO GO AFTER FRASER ISLAND?

NORTH

Don't forget to take advantage of a free nights' accomodation after your trip and look back on an epic few days with new friends.

If heading up the coast, most people would take the overnight bus and wake up in Airlie Beach, to see the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, the East Coast's other 'MUST DO'.

If you have a bit more time you might want to stop off at Bundaberg (if it's turtle season) or Agnes Water/1770.

SOUTH

Don't forget to take advantage of a free nights' accomodation after your trip and look back on an epic few days with new friends.

Down the coast, head to Noosa or Brisbane next. Check out Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo on the way and don't forget to go to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane.  Remember it is illegal to hold a koala in NSW so you need to get that pic in Queensland!

Further beyond you have Gold coast and Byron Bay to loook forward to.
